Moventis opens its doors to young talent to reveal the various processes and activities undertaken by its operators in El Maresme and the Costa Brava

On 23 January, some 20 students on the Advanced Level Courses in Automotion and Electromechanics at the Monlau centre visited the premises of the operators owned by Moventis, Moventis Casas and Moventis Costa, in Mataró and Malgrat de Mar.

These young people, who are studying to become qualified technicians, were given the opportunity to see the inner workings of various areas of these collective transport operators alongside the professionals who work there.

They began their tour by visiting the depot and body and paintwork garage of Moventis Costa in Malgrat de Mar. This was followed by an interesting educational talk by Joan Onna, Workshop Manager at Moventis Costa, Daniel Diaz, Workshop Coordinator at Moventis Costa, and Jaume Safont, Workshop Manager at Moventis, who also accompanied them during the visit.

Following their tour of Moventis Costa, the students got back on the bus for a visit to the headquarters of Moventis Casas in Mataró, where they were welcomed by Borja Trapote, Moventis Representative for El Maresme.

This event, during which the young students were able to learn about numerous aspects of the two companies and see some of the concepts and processes they are studying first-hand, forms part of the commitment to training from Moventis. As part of its corporate social responsibility activities, the collective mobility division of Moventia is engaged in numerous initiatives aimed at contributing to progress by society.
