Moventis, the collective mobility division of Moventia, has concluded another edition of the TRAM Barcelona Open as mobility partner and main sponsor, thereby reaffirming its commitment to accessible mobility, inclusion and the promotion of adapted sport.

This 9th edition of the tournament, which took place at the Barcelona Royal Polo Club, gathered international world-class athletes and once again consolidated Barcelona’s position as a benchmark venue for wheelchair tennis. Furthermore, this year’s tournament reached a historic milestone following its promotion to the ITF1000 category and has positioned itself as one of the most outstanding competitions on the international circuit beyond the Grand Slams.

The Japanese player Tokito Oda, number one in the world, won the men’s championship after taking part in the tournament for the first time. Diede de Groot won her fourth Barcelona title in the women’s competition, while Guy Sasson reigned supreme in the quad category to take his second TRAM Barcelona Open title.

Moventis has once again consolidated its ties to a project that combines sport, accessibility and social commitment, and reaffirmed its wish to continue supporting initiatives that help to build a more inclusive society.
