Moventis strengthened its commitment to sustainability, innovation and management improvements through attendance by Xavier Martín, Tenders Officer at the company, at the 8th National Congress of Municipal Engineering, which took place on 21 November at the Barcelona Contemporary Art Museum (MACBA).

Organised by the Catalan Institute of Construction Technology (ITeC), this congress focused on three main topics: sustainability, digitalisation and industrialised construction, all aimed at preparing cities to tackle global challenges.

In his talk, Xavier Martín stressed how artificial intelligence can be applied to transport and public highways management, highlighting innovative solutions that are boosting efficiency and sustainability in the urban environment. He went on to explain a number of examples in which the company has recently applied process automation, such as the standardisation of data from the CRM using artificial intelligence platforms. To conclude, Xavier Martín presented the current and future challenges faced by Moventis and the fundamental role to be played by artificial intelligence in overcoming them. “At Moventis, we see new technologies and AI as a bridge to offering the best public transport and increasing operational efficiency”, he said.
