The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdulmajeed Altasan, Vice-President of the branch of Transport General Authority; Salah Qaid, CEO and member of Qaid; Turki Qaid, a member of the Board of Directors of NWB and a member of Qaid; Mr. Carl Yeaman, CEO of NWB; Robert Roy, QA Manager at Moventis in Saudi Arabia; and Mr. Mark Atkinson on behalf of DAW, the Intercity operator for the country’s northern region. 

In line with the goals set by the 2030 Vision in Saudi Arabia, the opening of this new infrastructure brings huge improvements to mobility and connectivity by promoting the development of a more sustainable, efficient and people-focused transport system.

The Tabuk terminal is equipped with modern and smart facilities based on a design aimed at offering comfort to passengers and extensive investment in technology capable of providing information in real time and premium quality services.

The new space will therefore contribute to a better connection between the main cities in the country’s north-west, such as Jeddah, Mecca and Medina, making travel easier and strengthening the social and economic fabric in the region.

With this project, Northwest Bus is boosting its role as a key intercity mobility operator in Saudi Arabia, helping to reduce vehicle congestion, improve public transport efficiency and encourage tourism by connecting strategic destinations.

Inauguration of the Tabuk terminal consolidates the commitment from Moventis to offering innovative, sustainable and people-focused transport solutions, and continues its international expansion.
