Safety
Ensuring the safety of both passengers and driving staff is a top priority for Moventis. That’s why every coach in our fleet is built to strictly meet the highest safety standards.
Safety is our top priority. Our goal is to ensure every journey is safe, comfortable and worry-free.
Three-point seatbelts
Our coaches feature adjustable three-point seatbelts that secure passengers at the hips and include an additional strap over the shoulder. This extra protection ensures greater safety for everyone on board.
Portable defibrillators
For added peace of mind, we offer portable defibrillators for hire. These are especially useful on long trips or when travelling with older passengers. Designed for ease of use, they can be operated by anyone with basic instructions.
Comprehensive safety protocols
Before each journey, Moventis provides a full safety briefing. This ensures that passengers and staff are fully aware of the safety measures, equipment and specific procedures in place.
Anti-start breathalysers
As of 7 July 2024, all newly registered buses and coaches must legally include anti-start breathalysers. Moventis has taken this further by equipping a larger portion of its fleet with this technology. These devices prevent the vehicle from starting if the driver fails the breathalyser test, providing an additional layer of safety for passengers.
Hazard zone monitoring system
Moventis has developed an advanced system to monitor and identify hazardous zones along routes. When a coach enters a risk area, the driver receives an audible alert, encouraging extra caution and vigilance.
